Viagra can reduce the flow of blood to the optic nerve of the eye causing sudden vision loss. This side-effect has seen in a small number of people using Viagra, especially in patients suffering from heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or certain pre-existing eye problems, and in those who smoke or are over 50 years old. However, it is not clear that Viagra is the genuine cause of vision loss. If you have sudden vision loss, then stop using Viagra and consult your physician.
